Scope and Content

The title on the spine of this scrapbook is "1975-1977" but it really starts in 1974. This scrapbook starts in 1974 and commemorates the creation of the Enon Brass Band by David E. Clark and Oliver MacCleod (sometimes called the Enon Brass Chorus or the Enon Brass Choir) and documents them playing at churches, at the Wenham Historical Association's (Wenham Museum's) Annual Craft Fair, and on Memorial Day. Other iterations of the David Clark band include The Enon Oom-pahs, Wenham Flags and Drums, and sometimes include Herald Trumpets. This scrapbook has photographs - staged and candid, newspaper articles, letters and notes of thanks, playlists, band member lists, schematics of the bell tower at the First Church (Congregational Church) in Wenham, and ephemera from performances.
