A rectangular valentine folded on the left side. The background is embossed in blue and white. The corners are rounded and have a flower in each, and there is a point on each side between the corners. In the center is applied a sticker with a boy and girl cupid with a large urn between them, and they are holding a banner on which is printed, "True to thee."
Attached to the background with paper tabs is a piece of white paper lace, and an oval is cut out in the center to reveal the cupids below. Applied to the paper lace are stickers: a floral bouquet, a boy a wreath in which is a note, "true Heart," and a girl.
Inside is a verse, printed in blue with a red frame around it:
FLAME OF LOVE
-----
Within my heart,
There burns a flame,
Of love for one,
I dare not name.
Undimmed, the same
Truth night and day,
It wears my spirit's
Life away!
It burns in secret,
And alone;
To all the world,
Beside, unknown.
But thou! - surely
Thy heart can guess,
The name my words,
Cannot express!
