A rectangular, ivory-colored, embossed and lithographed valentine folded on the left side. In the center is a medallion with a design showing a scene in a living room with man in a blue coat and a woman in a pink dress. The woman is sitting on a sofa, and the man is proposing to her.
The picture is split in the middle horizontally, and when the two flaps are lifted, another picture is revealed of the woman, now with a green jacket, and she and the man are outside saying goodbye to each other, the man's horse behind him.
At the bottom of the pictures is a verse:
TRUE LOVE
Will tender love for thee I
sigh,
Oh may it ne'er depart;
All other things do I defy,
To secure with thee my heart.
The inside of the card is blank.
