Photograph, Born Digital, 2005 1860s CB&Q Depot Move. Color, Landscape format, .jpg file type. Image modified January 1, 2002. Shows the 1860s West Chicago / Turner Junction Depot on a flatbed trailer attached by a long cable to a red semi truck that is on the far left edge of the photo. It is being pulled up onto a curb and a grassy patch in the parking lot behind the West Chicago City Museum, off Turner Court. Photo is taken from high up - likely the second floor back window of the museum. There are two people standing near the cable, looking at the Depot. There are 5 people watching from the sidewalk - two in yellow vests and three bystanders. Upper left of the photo there is an apartment complex (located at 101 E. Geneva St.) The Depot is in the process of being moved from its old location on Main Street to the new location on Turner Court.Photograph Details
