Though much of the terrain has been developed since the photograph was taken, I attempted to identify the intersecting street walking along the West Chicago portion of Roosevelt Road on google maps. When going West, McChesney ends at Roosevelt road on the left, and just before Kress Creek. There is a section of the railing over Kress Creek that looks like it could have been the culvert in the photo. Roosevelt, as it continues west, also turns in the correct direction of the turn in the photo. More research should be done for verify identification.
There is also a theory (in Past Perfect from a previous cataloging of this photograph) this could be looking East from Rt. 59, making the road to the left Sarana Blvd, and the culvert would be passing over the west branch of the Du Page River. This is a possibility, but the culvert looks too small to be crossing an entire branch of a river. No water is visible in the image.General Notes
