The photo is taken from across the street. 110 Galena street is a 1.5 story, red sided building with a large 4x5 paned window on next to the front door, with a small covered area to the right. Sign on building reads "West Chicago Park District". There is a small alley visible to the left of the red building that connected Galena to Center. Partially visible is a 1 story brick commercial building with a white sided house attached, and a 2 story carriage house with 2 arched door ways / windows on the side. Note on envelope ways "Youth Field Trip Lincoln Park Zoo," organized by the West Chicago Park District.

According to Peggy, the building at 110 Galena was the Park District's first office, which was established in 1972. The Bus service used by the Park district was Wolf Bus Service
