Description

Incense plays an important role in Hoodoo as it does in many other practices and religions. In Hoodooism, it is thought to be able to repel negative energies and send prayers to the spirit realm. The smoke from incense has also been used to “divine” with the aide of spirits. Though many know it in its stick form, it is also available in powdered or cones as well. Different types of incense used by practitioners include Bat’s Blood, Fast Luck, Cast Off, Myrrh and Frankincense.
