Description

Cotton Gin Display that includes 32 components. This 1/16th scale model was hand-crafted and painted by Daryl Cox, who grew up hauling cotton on a similar cotton gin in the Henderson/Chester County area of Southwest, Tennessee. This display features a replica of an actual cotton gin in operation during the 1950s-1970s. It shows a cotton field, where the cotton is harvested, a number of tractors used during the farming process, works performing a multitude of tasks, and the cotton gin, which receives the picked cotton from the field for processing.
