This is a mixed media painting, which is an artwork that is created using more than one material. It was created by Brownsville artist Marty Stoots Todd in 2014. It was originally sold at an auction benefiting a local non-profit and later donated to the Delta Heritage Center by the owners. The painting highlights historic architectural features of the city square and the important role agriculture plays in the city’s heritage.
