Description

A black and white photograph, enclosed in a wooden frame, of thirteen unidentified men standing in front of and inside a sawmill in Westfield. The sawmill consists of a larger room at the left and three smokestacks at the right. A few wagons are also sitting in front of the sawmill. The handwriting on the back says, "Westfield Sawmill that cut farm timber to build homeplace on 196th St." Another handwritten note on the back reads, "Sawmill where planks were cut for homestead."
