A letter to Sarah Tarbox, age 14, from Hannah Heal, age 9, when both girls lived and attended school on Westport Island. This letter was written during Sarah's last year of schooling on Westport Island before she went away to boarding school in Topsham. In this letter, Hannah invites Sarah to her last day of school which is two weeks away. Hannah Heal's family owned a sawmill on the west side of the island and, like the Tarboxes, were members of the Methodist Episcopal Church.
