Name/Title
James Fenwick to Andrew Jones - January 2, 1862Entry/Object ID
2024.1.50Description
In this letter Fenwick gives some insight into his faith, and also praises Jones for his understanding while the former gets his ducks in a row. Fenwick writes of the hopes that he had when he first purchased the land five years prior in that he would, "improve natural cranberry land." Things have gone mostly to plan, although he does worry about drought, fire, and thieves.
It also seems that Fenwick is venting and hopes that it will not go any further than Jones.
This letter includes a note written by Elizabeth White, which provides additional information.
