Feb. 21: Wheeler remarks that Elizabeth must be glad to be home as he was after a week in Milton. Cape has had an open winter. He is becoming interested in blueberries, asks if she has plants and what she would recommend for MA. Army destroying woods, cutting hollies to disguise trucks for war games. This cuttings have done well, is considering an underground propagating house. Feb. 29: Elizabeth is glad to be back at Whitesbog. She will not have blueberry cuttings till fall (due to heavy demand). Is sending a catalogue. Though near Fort Dix, Whitesbog has not been "overrun". Her holly cuttings have also done well. Joe Darlington is at Whitesbog, deferred because of agricultural work. Tom can finish his classes (mechanical engineering) before going into the Navy.
