Source: Radio Garden Club Vol.6 Digest No. 50 Author: Elizabeth C. White This is the transcript of a radio presentation made over Station WOR and other stations of the Mutual Broadcasting Network. This is a relatively short chronological history of the modern blueberry. It includes the discovery of the major bushes used by Dr. Colville and Elizabeth White, together with naming practices. Use of the Blueberry bush in an ornamental capacity is also presented. Also mentioned, are the two locations used to conduct research; Whitesbog and Washington, DC.
