Stephen Smith is 71 years old as of May 2026. He was a drywall finisher and contractor for over 45 years. Family, faith, and sports have always been his passions. Just a few months before the COVID pandemic, he wanted to record the memoirs of his experiences with friends and family in the turkey woods. A close friend who had written a children’s book suggested Author House Publishing to help publish his book. And so it began, sitting on his back deck with pen and paper, beginning the rough draft of the book, in Lancaster, Ohio. His finished product was 30 Years of Chasing Turkeys: The Real Stories, Good, Bad, and Sideways.
It is a quick read at 59 pages and contains illustrations. It was published in a hardback and paperback format.Collection
