Description

Denton Diller (D.D.) Adams is a callmaker venerated by many for his history-making "pot calls." While peg and slate calls had been around for well over 100 years, in the early 1970s, D.D. Adams was among the first to start building calls with a resonant sound chamber through mounting a surface onto the rain catcher (flower pot base). He also made a stop- sign shaped call with a piece of glass or slate mounted openly in it. D.D. Adams calls were used with success by turkey calling championship competitotrs, and are eagerly sought by collectors.
