Dave Constantine's custom callmaking and art business is TIMBER WARDEN GAME CALLS. As of 2026, he is 74 years old and a full-time call maker, design artist, and wood carver. In addition to being a passionate hunter, he enjoys cooking, fishing, and teaching.
Constantine began making calls in 1983 in his home in Wisconsin. He was inspired by the idea that it would be fun to try to harvest a gobbler with a call he made himself.
He specializes in highly collectible, fine-quality hunting calls, handmade box calls, and yelpers. He also carves and paints decorative calls.
Constantine is an 11-time NWTF GRAND NATIONAL CALLMAKER OF THE YEAR, eight of which are the prestigious Earl Mickel Award. He has over 200 first-place NWTF call-making awards and is a 3-time Midwest hunting division champion.Create Date
