Kirby's Double Trouble call. This was one of his "Originals" line where he began custom-making some calls after the production side of Quaker Boy was up and rolling.

Description
After Ray Chisholm introduced the trough-style call, others began to make their own variation on the theme. This includes the Penn's Woods "Sweet Talker" (developed by George "Fritz" Fleisher) and Ben Lee's "Super Hen." The innovator Lewis Stowe supplied Ben Lee with the aluminum strips used in the call. The two men apparently worked together to develop a double-sided trough call by attaching a small strip of slate to the spine of the call. Quaker Boy founder Dick Kirby adapted that principle to the call he dubbed "Double Trouble," a nod to its two calling surfaces. He offered this as a custom built call in his line of "Originals," but Quaker Boy would also develop a production model: The Original Hawg Trough.
