Description

Prior to forming Knight & Hale Game Calls, Harold Knight began constructing his turkey tube-type calls out of straight plastic cylinders (either a PVC pipe or pill bottles) with latex rubber stretched over half of one end of the bottle, nearly meeting up with a ‘lip stop’ that was glued into the other side. His earliest had consisted of two pieces of plastic, with one slightly smaller piece of cylinder inserted into a somewhat larger one; then Knight switched to a single plastic cylinder. This is the early dual cylinder model. wood grained tape was put over the tubing. Knight said these PVC tubes were made in 1971 and 1972.
