While Henry Clay Gibson received the patent for the Gibson Turkey Call & Gobbler box call, there are a few examples of Gibson calls with the paddles stamped “Gibson & Boddie." John Boddie (1848-1929) was from Arkadelphia, Arkansas. Boddie’s name seems rarely to have been included, making these rare and special calls.
