With the success of The Super Aluminator (Model MD-300) pot call which had launched in 1996, M.A.D. Calls would launch the Super Aluminator 2 in 2003. While similar in name, it was a distinctly different call. The original aluminum surface was modified to anodized aluminum (aluminum treated through an electrochemical process to create a durable finish), and the pot was no longer one of Mike Battey design. The striker accompanying the call was advertised as being an "adjustable, turnable carbon striker," allowing a user to alter sounds produced through extending the striker peg.Collection
