In 1996, Tom Duvall & Jim Clay would launch a Volume 5 in their Video series titled "Perfection Turkey Calls Hunting & Calling Trophy Toms Video Textbook Kit." This was a teaching tool provided through a VHS with over 60 minutes of footage, and came with the two calls featured; a suction call and a tube call. While both are wind instruments, the "Wingbone Yelper" (actually a trrumpet call) provided is operated by drawing air to create suction, while the tube call uses exhaled air blown across a reed to simulate turkey vocalizations.
VHS were generallhy sold in colorful sleeves, and in their heyday of the 1980s and 90s, they would sell for $40 or even $50. Now, those prices still relevant for certain rare titles which collectors strive to preserve. This kit pictured is a rare and special one indeed, with the sleeve, VHS tape and two callers all included.Cataloged By
