Description

Perfection Turkey Calls was co-founded by Virginians Jim Clay and Tom Duvall in the early 1970s. Clay was a high school English instructor and Duvall a high school Woodworking and Industrial Arts teacher. Their timing coincided with the restoration of the wild turkey, and Perfection would be one of the new "modern turkey call companies" riding that wave. They did few limited editions sets, but a set of 1,000 hard plastic cases containing a glass pot call, single piece wood striker, turkey spur pin, and medallion were made to commemorate the company's 25th Anniversary in 1996. The calls themselves were not individually numbered, but all cases were more generically labeled "One of 1,000."
