Perfection Turkey Calls was co-founded by Virginians Jim Clay and Tom Duvall in the early 1970s. Clay was a high school English instructor and Duvall a high school Woodworking and Industrial Arts teacher. . Their timing coincided with the restoration of the wild turkey, and Perfection would be one of the new "modern turkey call companies" riding that wave. Some calls were made in-house (like diaphragms), and others were outsourced (such as box calls made through M.L. Lynch or Rohm Brothers. They did few limited editions sets, but one (circa 1990s) consisted of a box call and a suction call with custom art work by West Virginian David Greer. This set was produced in an edition of 250. This Perfection suction call is the exact same call that Knight & Hale sold as "The Enticer" and Charles L. Tolley's "Tolley's Turkey Talker."Collection
