Description

Champion turkey caller Preston Pittman's line of turkey calls included many pot-style calls. One of his friends, Mike Battey, was a well-known game call designer, and many of the Pittman Game Calls pot calls were of his design. Battey's personal favorite pot design was his "competition cup," a plastic pot (cup) made in an injection mold that featured three series of five holes on the back to emit sound. These pots had an integrated sound board and were used in this (and other designs) by many leading turkey call manufacturers. The Pulsator was one such. It had an aluminum surface, and was paired with two strikers, also with a Battey design, one with a hickory peg and one with carbon (thus advertised as "waterproof"). It was model 213.
