Description
Martin Coffman is a retired veterinarian living in south Alabama. He started hunting wild turkeys in 1967 and eventually moved from his home state, Tennessee, to Alabama, in part because of spring hunting.
This hardback, 145-page book offers thoughts on the philosophy and attraction of turkey hunting, with rationale on why we do it, to hard-core tips and advice on what has worked for him and what hasn't. Subjects covered range from turkey biology to guns to calls, to gear to cooking and ideas around the future of spring turkey hunting. The book ends with three fictional stories about turkey hunting that offer insight into what our sport is all about.
