Description

Generations of turkey hunters made calls out of the materials they had available, using the tools and technology of their time. Those calls are wonderful artifacts from our turkey hunting past. Especially beautiful are those items carved, hewn, and turned from wood, such as this one-piece turned suction yelper. They have a patina that is reminiscent of other forms of American folk art. This call has the signs of use in its dings and weathering.
