Description

Wooden towel rack. Incised design with medallion in darker wood above & incising below and where metal brackets hold two wooden bars. Lidded & hinged top for storage compartment behind the beveled mirror.

Context

If you put something in the storage compartment you cannot reach your hand in to remove it. Online search revealed somewhat similar item for $200. Newspaper article said it came from the Camp Creek area south of Nebraska City.
