William Bull and Sarah Wells Stone House AssociationScope and Content
1872
Hamptonburgh Sept 4th.
A Fair representation of the descendants
of Wm Bull & Sarah Wells having
arrived the President Prof R H Bull
of New York called the meeting to
order. Rev T Tegget of Chester opened
the exercises by prayer. Victor M.
Drake followed in a short address.
After which there was some entertaining
songs, by Mrs Crosby of Crawford Miss
Bertie Gale & others & some volunteer
singing by a party not descended from
the loins of William Bull.
Dinner then came on & the
aching void was filled and
quieted. After Dinner the orator
of the day Robert Jackson Esq of
Hamptonburgh made the annual
address. Which of the faults & foibles
of this noble band of relatives did
nothing extenuate or of its failings
weakness lack of culture insignificance
