To the Trustee of school district No. 6, town of Wallkill
The first month’s salary of the supervisor of physical training is now due and should be paid as soon as possible. The law governing this matter is mandatory, therefore, the service of a supervisor of physical training is necessary. It is hoped that other arrangements may be made so that teachers in charge of schools may be qualified to do this work in the future.
The amount due from your district for the month’s salary less one per cent. deducted for the retirement fund is $7.40. A statement on the order will show the total salary for the month, the amount deducted and the actual amount now due from your district.
Make the check payable to Miss Marie V. Marshall or order, and mail to my address in enclosed envelope. One-half of the amount paid by districts will be returned to districts next year as public money. Therefore, the actual expense to districts will be only one-half of the sum paid at the present time.
