Scope and Content
Each night when labour’s o’er
Feet, legs, wash free from dirt
with water warm & pure
Then change thy frock or shirt
Thy bed filled with clean straw
Upon the same lie down
And sleep without a flaw
This will thy nerves soon crown.
Read this to Milton it will answer him
as well as thy self.
