Mr. Harry Bull, Campbell Hall, N.Y.
Dear Sir: A Harry Bull, of Jay Essex Co. N.Y. referred me to you for
information relating to the lineage of the Bull family there –
My Mother was a distant cousin of this Mr. Bull but our families were
closer in friendship. Can you tell me any thing of the family history of Capt. Thomas Bull? He came from London in 1635 and landed at Saybrook, Conn. He is buried in the Congregational Church Cemetery, Hartford Conn. His wife’s name was Susanne. I enclose stamped envelope for reply. I thank you for what you can tell me of Capt. Bull & family – My great-great grandfather was Jeremiah Bull " great .. .. .. Joel Bull " my Mother grandfather .. William Bull Martha Palmer Bull
Jeremiah Bull must have been Brother to the father of Benjamin Robert Bull –
grand father of Harry Bull – Jay. N.Y.
Yours very truly
Bessie Davis Hewett.
