sent me this with letter of Aug 25, 1923, saying:
"as an appreciation of your unfailing courtesy, I am en-
closing, for you personally, a photostat copy of a Bill of Sale,
wh I have had made.
The orig. B/s was given to me sometime ago by the late
Theodore Bull, who informed me that James Bull was his 'grandfather
on the mothers side of the house'. & must have been Aunt Sally's
husband. doesn't it seem so to you? She was one of
Thomas Bull's brood, that went out from your old 'Stone House'
I hope that it will reach you unmarred and in
good shape for framing and that you will give it a
resting place on the walls of the old home."
