Jet Flying Besides training pilots for conventional engine-type proficiency, Flying Training now gives jet flying instruction. Four jet pilots--Lt. Joseph S. Hice, Lt. Richard G. Bull, Lt. Parks M. Ray and Capt. Harold M. Wilson--are attached to the instructor pilot staff. They handle an average of 30 jet flights weekly, as well as brief pilots on jet flying principles and give pre-flight cockpit checks.
