An Article of an agreement made this the twenty ninth day of the twelfth month one thousand Eight Hundred and fifteen Between Lewis Mapes of the town of Warwick County of orange and State of New York of the one part and Martial Mapes of the town of Blooming Grove County and State aforesaid Witnesseth that the Said Lewis Mapes will Give unto the Said Partial Mapes a Deed of a Certain piece of land lying in Ulster County and on Said land there is a Mortgage In favor of Ebenetus Ketchum which the Said Lewis is to pay and the Said Martial Mapes Does quit all his claim to the farm from his father Benjamin Mapes Now lives and to pay the Said Lewis Mapes the Sum of Three Hundred Dollars In Witness Whereof the parties to these presents Have hereunto Set their Hands the Day first above Written Witness Present Lewis Mapes Stephen H Bull, Partial Mapes, Isaac Bull
