Dear Michael We apologize for the tardiness of this letter. Life has been a bit of a circus this past Month and shall continue to for the next few weeks. We have had solid company since mid-Aug with trips to Pembroke, Sudbury and Timmins (Grant's 90 yr old uncle is in dire straits - in hospital.) Fortunately Grant has PoA. We are off to Timmins Sept 5th for 3 days. Hopefully we shall finish up the necessities. The plan is to move him to our area to be near Grant's mother and us. Our company leaves on the 4th Sept. spiritual thoughts. You have no idea how important our visit with you has been. We are so very much impressed with the Bull family and foundation and it is so nice to know that all that history and genealogy is in good hands. Did it rain the day of the picnic? Another success! We were sorry to hear that Millie and Fred did not make it. It would have been good for her. We e-mailed her before the picnic, but have not heard from her. Such a lovely woman. We thank you for sending the colouring books and information (so much for air mail) Enclosed is a cheque for $75.00 - Canadian funds which should cover the cost American. We have enclosed also some pictures of you and your family - and some with us. The video is fine - hard to hear at the very beginning only. By the way George Bull (the Loyalist) is said to be from Wallkill Ulster County NY (New Brunswick gravestone). We thought he was from Wallkill, Orange County NY Which is correct? We have more questions, but we need to check with the Blue book first ... so we will email those. So very sorry to hear of Betty's circumstances. Stress can create such unfortunate problems. We hope she is feeling better and we wish her well. Do keep us informed.
Well Michael it is always a pleasure to hear from you. Our warmest regards to you, Betty, Melanie. Love Betty & Grant Bull
