Dear Myron:
I suggested to our Board member, Sally Duffy, that she
might see the Independent Republic in Goshen with a view
to ascertaining what some blotters with a picture of the
house on would cost to be sent out with your letter, and
last night I received from her the enclosed sketch.
The cost, including the filling in of the dates for August
would be $7.50 for 250 copies and $15 for 1000 copies. I
am not sure how many of your letters go out, but I thought
perhaps 250. I also enclose to you a sample of the blotter
that would be used but not of the size. The size would
of course have to conform to your envelopes.
If the picnic date of August 27 were to be indicated in
red on the calendar it would increase the cost, but with
comparatively so few to be sent out I think it could be
arranged to have this date marked in red by hand with crayon.
Please let me have your reaction to the idea of enclosing
such a blotter with your letter, and if you favor it, how
many copies you would want.
Sincerely yours,
Bob
