THE WILLIAM BULL AND SARAH WELLS FAMILY ASSOCIATION
INCORPORATED
"STONE HOUSE"
HAMPTONBURGH, ORANGE COUNTY, NEW YORK
April 17, 1950
To the Members of:
THE WILLIAM BULL & SARAH WELLS FAMILY ASSOCIATION, INC.
The annual letter sent to contributors to our Association is usually merely a reminder of the general need of funds to maintain our property. Besides the general requirements of upkeep, there is a special need this year.
The heating system at the "Stone House" has become inadequate and should be replaced before another winter. This will constitute a major call on the Association's treasury and it is hoped that all who may be in a position to do so will make a special effort to achieve this necessary improvement.
Our Residents find it necessary to burn about 30 tons of coal during the winter months at a cost of nearly $15.00 a ton, making it very expensive to live there.
If this is the first annual letter which you have received, it is because a suggestion has been made that you would appreciate having your name added to our mailing list.
Enclosed is a card for use, if desired. Even if revocable, a list of all subscriptions would be helpful in letting us know where we stand.
Very truly yours,
THE WILLIAM BULL AND SARAH WELLS
FAMILY ASSOCIATION, INC.
