New-York, Nov. 5th, 1861.
Dear Sir:
You are respectfully invited to unite
with the Sons of Orange and Sullivan (now resident
in this city), in the reception and presentation of a
stand of Regimental Colors to the Tenth Legion,
Col. Chas. H. Van Wyck, which will take place at the
Everett House, Union Square, on Thursday, the 7th
instant. You will please rendezvous at the Armory
of the 7th Regiment, Tompkins Market.
Procession will move at 9 o'clock A. M.
