Dear Father
I have just time to scratch a few lines to inform thee how Anna and the rest of us are getting along. Anna was quite sick yesterday & the bilious matter still continues to collect on her stomach and consequently she has no appetite she has been much better then she was when thee was last down, has been out in the kitchen and all around the house in a chair. And we were really in hope she would be well enough to come up this week on 6th day but at present it is doubtful, we will try hard to get her up next week. Julia & Eddy spent the evening with us last night. They are very fond of their little niece, we call “Eddy.” Old uncle Ned now, Mother and Sarah are both well, but if they did not have their hands full of Suesnip. I think they would be a little homesick in haste
Love to each and all
Thine affectionately
