Dear Mary Ann & Michael,
There needs to be some fairly modern day death dates to be checked locally in the area such as Newburgh, Walden, etc.
Is it wise to compile short lists and perhaps have a few people make local calls to them? Them—meaning the cemetery or the church or perhaps even family or do you wish to have a written request by me? If so, I need money for stamps and for stationery?
Secondly—
On these deaths, I can make a running tabulation alphabetically and attach mailing cards to sheet. Then — of what value are the cards saved if it's only an address card? I could put that on the tabulation to be able to "throw out" the cards? Or do you want everything saved & you throw them out with me at a later date? I could have a double check if you feel it's wise?
Well — write & I'll do as you both feel.
By the way I'm just using my book for additions so I don't have to write so much til we decide how to organize it easily. Then I'll just go through my book orderly — if that can be done!
