Know all men by these presents that we John Bull (Son of Isaac Bull) of the Township of Goshen in the County of Orange and State of New York and Samuel Watkins Esq. of the Township of Wallkill in Ulster County and State aforesaid are held and firmly Bound Unto Birdsey Youngs Esq. Ebenezer Woodhull and Silas Pierson of Orange County and State aforesaid in the sum of two Hundred and Eighty pounds of Current Lawfull Money of the State of New York to be paid to the Said Birdsey Youngs Esq Ebenezer Woodhull and Silas Pierson or Either of them their or Either of Their Heirs Executors Administrators or Assigns for which payment to be well and truly made we bind Ourselves and Each of us Jointly and Severally for and in the whole, Our and [each] of Our Heirs Executors and Administrators firmly by these these presents Sealed with Our Seals Dated the twelveth Day of March in the Year of Our Lord One Thousand Seven Hundred and Ninety two.
The Condition of the Above Obligation is such that if the above Bounden John Bull and Samuel Watkins or Either of them, Their or Either of Their Heirs Executors or Administrators Do and shall well and truly pay or Cause to be paid Unto the Above Named Birdsey Youngs Ebenezer Woodhull and Silas Pierson or Either of them Their or Either of Their Heirs Executors Administrators or Assigns the Just and full Sum of One Hundred and forty Pounds of Current Lawfull Money Aforesaid on or before the twentieth Day of March which will be in the Year One Thousand Seven Hundred and Ninety three, with Lawfull Interest for the Same then the above Obligation Shall be Void Otherwise to be and Remain in full force and Virtue.
