### Summary of Content
1. The Recording:
This page serves as the "jacket" or filing cover for the mortgage. It notes that the document was recorded in the Orange County Records for Mortgages, Liber No. 27, pages 112, 113, and 114. It also specifies that the mortgage was part of an equity case involving the Gregory family.
2. The Acknowledgment:
This is a sworn statement dated April 23, 1829. It records that Isaac R. Van Duzer (a person known to the commissioner) appeared before James Wilkin, a Commissioner, to testify that he witnessed Daniel Bull sign and deliver the "within indenture" (the mortgage deed).
3. The Cancellation:
A later notation at the bottom of the filing cover indicates that the mortgage was officially cancelled on December 14, 1832, as signed by Asa Dunning, Clerk.
Note on Transcription: The handwriting utilizes the "long s" and standard legal terminology of the era, such as "signed, sealed, and delivered," which was the standard phrasing to indicate a deed had become legally binding.
