This Indenture made the Second day of April in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and Eighty three. Between Abimael Youngs of the one part and Alexander McVey of the other part. In the Wallkill Precinct Witnesseth that the said Abimael Youngs for and in consideration of the rent and Covenants hereinafter mentioned written on the Part and behalf of the said Alexander McVey his Execu.rs Admin.rs and [ ] in insight to be paid and performed, hath demised, granted and to farm let, and by these Presents doth demise grant and to farm let, to the said Alex.r McVey his Executors Administrators and Assigns All that farm Messuage Tenement formerly belonging to Hezekiah McClean, Deceased now in the Possession of the said Alex.r McVey together with all Houses, Barns, Barracks, Stables, out Houses, Orchards, Gardens, Meadows, Profits, Easements and Appurtenances whatsoever to the same belonging or in any wise appertaining, To have and to hold said Messuage, Tenement and Farm, and all and singular the said hereby demised Premises with the Appurtenances, unto the s.d Alex.r McVey his Execu.rs Admin.rs and Assigns, from from the Tenth day of April One thousand seven hundred and Eighty three for and during the Term of one whole year then next ensuing, fully to be compleat and ended yielding and paying at the expiration of said Year unto the said Abimael Youngs his Heirs Executors Admin.rs and Assigns the Sum of Eighteen Pounds New York Currency or said Grain Viz. Wheat at Six Shillings per Bushal and Rye and Indian Corn at four Shillings p.r Bushal [ ] and half at five Pounds or any other Produce at the same Rate as it was in the year of our Lord One Thousand seven hundred and seventy four and s.d Alex.r McVey shall pay all rates and taxes during the s.d Year that shall belong to s.d Farm but Abimael Youngs shall pay the Quit Rents of s.d Farm, And said Alex.r McVey shall not cut any Timber on s.d Farm Except for Wood and what is needfull for repairing the Building and fences And s.d Alex.r McVey Doth hereby bind him self his Heirs Execu.rs Administrators and Assigns in the Penal Sum of Five Thousand Pounds current Money of New York to Deliver up said farm in peaceable possession to said Abimael Youngs or his Heirs Executors Admin.rs or Assigns at the Expiration of s.d Term of one Year as above mentioned And said Alex.r McVey Shall leave said Building fencing Orchard and farm in as good Order and Repair as the was when he took Possession of said farm, and the s.d Abimael Youngs for himself his heirs Execu.rs Adm.rs and Assigns and for every of them Doth Covenant promise grant and agree to and with the said Alex.r McVey his heirs Execu.rs Admin.rs and Assigns and to and with every of them by these Presents that he the Said Alex.r McVey his heirs Executors Administrators and Assigns and Every of them for and Under the years rent Covenants Clauses & Conditions herein before expressed on the part and behalf of the s.d Alex.r McVey his heirs Executors Admin.rs and Assigns to be paid and Performed as aforesaid shall and may peaceable have hold raise occupy and enjoy all and Singular the hereby demised premises and every part thereof without any Let Trouble Molestation Eviction Interruption or Denial of the Said Abimael Youngs his heirs Executors Admin.rs or Assigns whatsoever Claiming or that Shall or may claim by from or under him or any of them In witness whereof the Parties to these Presents have Interchangeably put Their Hands and seals the Day and Year first above written.
