In the Name of God Amen I Sarah Pierson of Orange County and State of New York being weak in body, but of sound mind and of disposing memory praise be given to Almighty God, do make publish and declare this to be my last will and Testament in manner and form following, that is to say, First I commit my Soul into the hands of my Creator trusting through the merits of my Saviour Jesus Christ for the remission of all my sins, and my body I commit to the earth to be decently buried at the discretion of my executors herein after named. And as to what Temporal estate it hath pleased God to bless me with I give devise and bequeath as follows First I will that all my just debts be justly paid. Item I give devise and bequeath unto my two sisters Mary Youngs and Rachel Pierson all my property and estate to be equally divided between them for their use and benefit during their lives and at their decease to be equally divided amongst my brother Josiah Pierson’s children, and it is my will and I order and direct that the property thus bequeathed to Mary Seybolt daughter of my said brother Josiah Pierson shall be retained in the hands of my executors and paid to her as she may have need of it, and at her death to be equally divided amongst her brothers and sisters. But in case of the death of her husband David Seybolt it is my will and I order and direct that the property thus bequeathed
to her, be given to her, or so much of it as there maybe at the death of her said husband – And lastly Ido hereby make ordain constitute and appoint RichardW.
