Cemetery marker of Jane Bull
Dear Bart (Phebe's Youngest Son)
Many thanks for calling to our attention that there was no cement around the marker on Jane's grave.
I wrote Lane about it and he had some one go down to the cemetery and look at it. I have a letter from him saying it was all their fault and thanks me for calling it to their attention and said they would go down to Hamptonburgh again within a week or two with the cement and put it in proper shape. On receipt of his letter I wrote asking that he look at the other markers in the plot and if they needed attention I would like him to attend to them.
How soon will you folks be through with the hay & grain? We are looking forward to that visit most any time will suit us, only want to know a little in advance so we will be home.
Sincerely
Harry R. H.
