[Main Article Title] 109th Annual Bull Family Picnic More than 450 descendants of Sarah Wells and William Bull gathered at the Bull Stone House last Saturday for the 109th annual Bull family picnic. The picnic is held yearly at the original Bull Stone House on Sarah Wells Trail in Hamptonburgh. The association has kept track of some 4,000 families that are the descendants of two of the earliest settlers in Orange County. This year, members of the family came from all the New England states, North Carolina, Florida, Illinois, Michigan, Pennsylvania and New Jersey. The longest traveling members to attend this year, however, had to be split. William and Pam Graff and their two children journeyed from Anderson California while Jeff Macy made the trip from Spokane, Washington. Oldest member attending was William Bull Cox of Cornwall on Hudson, now 91 years old. Rebecca Ann Maney, at 4 months, was the youngest attending. Dorothy is Rebecca's grandmother while Rebecca's claim to fame right now is that she was the youngest member of the Bull family present at the 109th annual Bull Family picnic.
