Dear Mr. Brown -
I'm drawing a blank and can't remember if you're ~~Alabama~~ — or Louis’s also — we're in the midst of moving to California. Tell your mother - Corinna, that I was married last Nov at my daughter’s, in Indiana, to the retired Army Col. I first met at my brother’s in Cal. (we live just across the street). Had my first "date" going to his 55th re-union at West Point in '83, which was when I bro't you a few other "bits and pieces."
Cleaning out the attic I found the portraits that I'm fairly certain are of Jane Pearsall of L.I. and her husband Ebenezer Bull parents of Martha Bull - (Ben's grandmother).
The knitting is some (I think) of Martha Bull's - don't worry about keeping it - if you’ve no place for it.
Hopefully, this is everything. I’ve been at cleaning out for 3 months - have only another week to go. New owners move in Sept 22.
Enclosed with this is a handkerchief of Martha Bull’s - that didn’t get in the package - which is being sent under separate cover and may be slow getting there.
