Dear Ben & Mat
I have just come down from Orange Co. left the folks all well. Wm Henry & Lizzie have gone visiting to Ohio. Expect them back the last of this week. We attended Camp meeting
Saturday, an awful crowd there. Everybody and their children were out. Firstday went down to meeting, first to Aunt Pheony’s to dinner.
Chickens and warm biscuit after meeting went to Uncle Josie’s for Plums got a nice lot to preserve Eb and I have been driving Bonfanti and Dolly together. The colt goes very nicely no capers or trouble at all. I am expecting to go up Wednesday afternoon the 31st inst. and if you or either of you are ready to go at that time I shall be glad to see you. The Picnic is on the 7th ult and we expect a big time. If I do not see you or hear from you previously will keep an eye open at the depot Wednesday afternoon.
Love to all.
Yours Truly
