Orange { ss Be it remembered that on the second Day of January one
County} thousand Eight Hundred and Two came Personally before me John
Steward one of the Judges of the Court of Common Pleas for orange
County John Mansell one of the Subscribing Witnesses to the
[crossed out text] Indenture to me Personally Known and
being by me duly sworn saith that he Saw Samuel Watkins
and Abel Watkins Sign Seal and Deliver the Within Indenture
as and for there Act and Deed for the Uses and purposes therein
Mentioned and that he together with Thomas Booth Subscribed
there Names as Witnesses at the Same Time and that he was Personally acquainted with Both the Grantors I having Perused
the Same and finding No Material Erasures or Interlineations
therein but the Words Quit Claim Interlined & the Words Warrant and
forever Defend Obliterated and Noted to have been made before
Signing Doe allow the Same to be Recorded
